RON BERMAN FOR PALM BEACH GARDENS CITY COUNCIL

Hi, I’m Ron Berman.

Friends,
In case you didn’t have a chance to meet me during my State Senate run, I am Ron Berman, and I am now running for City Council here in Palm Beach Gardens.
First of all, I’d like to thank this great city for supporting me with 60% of the vote! It was a tough race, but I met a lot of fantastic people from across north county, which made it a great experience.
After the Senate race, some community leaders reached out to me to run for the city council. After giving it some time and consideration, I decided to run. With term limits being passed a few years ago, there has been a changing of the guard in this city, and I want to be a part of this new era.
I have operated many successful businesses, including Quicken Loans, a company that I founded back in 1985. I have been a licensed attorney and real estate broker for over 35 years and have also served on the Board of Directors of many companies, both public and private as well as charitable organizations. I believe that my diverse experience in business, law and finance will allow me to serve our city well, especially in a time where we need to carefully manage our growth.
My top priorities are:
– Keeping a balance between future development and traffic and safety concerns
– Making our streets and neighborhoods as safe as possible
– Stopping the proliferation of sober homes in residential areas
I want to hear your concerns as well! Please respond to this email with any issues that you have with the city. I’d love to speak with you and help you find a solution.
If you’d like to receive an absentee ballot click here to request one from the Supervisor of Elections.
I’d be honored to receive your vote on March 14th!
Thank you,
Ron Berman

BARRY DONALDSON, CANDIDATE FOR
HIGHLAND BEACH TOWN COMMISSION
“What is Private Art in Public View”?
Several people have asked me to explain what I mean by “public art in public view” in my campaign platform. This is a concept to encourage private owners to install outdoor works of art along A1A to promote an identity for which Highland Beach might become known.
Very simply, I would like to see the Town establish a Community Arts Board to undertake outreach to encourage and facilitate the installation of privately owned works of art in public view. The Board would also work to identify and recommend any changes to our codes to enable reasonable exceptions for such installations.
This effort would enhance the proposed improvements to the walkway along A1A and help it become more identifiable as a Linear Park, with amenities. We already see examples of public art appearing in our community.  We need to encourage and acknowledge this as a suitable identity for the Town of Highland Beach and support its expansion.

KEVIN EASTON FOR PALM BEACH GARDENS, SEAT 5
My name is Kevin Easton and as a candidate for group 5 Palm Beach Gardens city Council I am asking for your vote on March 14th.   I have attended all the candidate forums and unfortunately, no other forums have been planned,  I  hope you had a chance to listen to my plans for the future for Palm Beach Gardens.
It is my hope that our city will start posting all the videos from the forums and start promoting the election that is on Tuesday March 14th.  The city should already have an election page and provide links to all candidate forum videos, but they haven’t done that, and that is not far to the voters that can not attend these forums.
I believe and support in total transparency.  Over the years I have questioned our city leadership and have asked them to promote elections via the electronic sign in front of city hall.   Others have requested this as well.  Our leaders don’t seem to want to communicate this to the residents.
Communication and information about the candidates are important. Our city should inform and promote awareness and interest in municipal elections.
I will soon post the taped forum links on my web site   www.electkevineaston.com.  I will do this for the residents that can’t get to these forums so that they can watch, listen and help to make informed decisions on which candidates to vote for in this election.
Please visit www.electkevineaston.com for more information about me.   I ask for your vote and support on election day Tuesday March 14th.    Thank you.
Please vote for me, Kevin Easton on March 14th.

RON DELANEY
RE-ELECTION FOR JUPITER TOWN COUNCIL
My name is Ron Delaney current Jupiter Town Councilor District 2. Last March 15th I ran as a first-time candidate and defeated the incumbent Democrat. Being an unknown meant running on a shoestring budget but with some great guidance and energy, where we able to pull out a convincing victory. I made hundreds of phone calls and knocked over 1000 doors.
This election we have two opponents, which brings the possibility of a run-off. Our goal is to get 50% on election day! The campaign is in full gear and I would appreciate any support.
My focus is always on low taxes, a diversified economic base (high-paying low-impact jobs (Bio-tec/medical), well-planned growth and  promoting eco-tourism. All this while maintaining Jupiter’s beauty and natural resources.
Thank you for your support!

NEXT MEETING TONITE!
March 2, 2017
Loren Spivack, “The Free Market Warrior,” was born and raised in Massachusetts and spent most of his adult life in New York City. Before becoming active in politics, Spivack worked for several non-profits and as a management consultant for both profit and non-profit companies.
Spivack founded “Free Market Warrior” in 2009 in an effort to make a positive difference in American politics and economics.
His “Free Market Warrior” store was expelled from Concord Mills Mall in North Carolina in July of 2009 for selling material critical of the Obama Administration.  (Mall owners, Simon Property Group, are major Democratic donors.) Since then Loren has devoted his time to teaching conservative groups about free market economics. He conducts “Economic Literacy” seminars across the United States. So far, Spivack has delivered his famous seminar on Economic Literacy to over 200 groups in 20 states.
Spivack is also the author of
The New Democrat, a parody history of the Obama administration, based on a famous children’s book.  With pitch-perfect rhyme and clever illustrations, “The New Democrat” transforms the political personalities of our times into cartoon characters in a conservative morality play.
Spivack’s second book,
The Gorax, is an anti-environmentalism/pro capitalism parody starring Al Gore and presenting his movement as a threat to American freedom and standard of living. Once again Spivack is both funny and poignant as he makes the case that capitalism (represented by the “Onepercentler”) is the real victim of environmental extremists who destroy prosperity without achieving even their own goals. Along the way, Spivack takes well aimed shots at everything from “The Fed” to the teachers unions. The Gorax came out on July 1, 2013.

Mr. Spivack lives in Massachusetts with his wife and 3 of their 6 children (the other three having grown up).
All Republicans and their guests are welcome to attend any regular meeting without making reservations – just show up.
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEES ARE DUE IN JANUARY.  $25 per member

PALM BEACH COUNTY TEA PARTY, MARCH EVENTS
Please Join us at Abacoa on Monday, March 6
and in Boca Raton on Tuesday, March 7
for
Joe Budd, Palm Beach County State Committeeman
Help us kick off the new year with a thoughtful discussion of the political environment under a Trump administration, and its effect on our Congressional delegation and the state party.
Can we trust Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell to follow through on the Trump agenda other than perhaps repealing Obamacare and some tax reform? If we want to really  Make America Great Again, it is going to take constant pressure by the grassroots on our members of Congress to keep them on the path.
Newly elected State Committeeman Joe Budd, who campaigned against the status quo in the recent contest, is uniquely positioned to help us stay focused as the grassroots.
Besides a quick overview of what to expect from RPOF in 2017, we will hear Joe’s views on why he supported Donald Trump from the beginning (and served as county co-chair), what he expects in the first 100 days, and what we need to do as Republican activists to help our new President achieve real change in our government.
