Our Club cordially invites everyone from our Kings Point Community to come to our Wednesday, September 5th, 2018 meeting, participate in our activities, listen to our speakers and ask them questions about the issues of the day. All residents of Kings Point are invited regardless of politicapersuasion. All attending will receive a free raffle ticket for a chance to win a $25.00 Publix gift card.
 
Our first speaker will be our long -time friend Alan Bergstein. Alan is a well- known local activist and commentator and currently serves as President of the Judeo -Christian Republican Club. Alan will talk about the “Issues of The Day”
Our second guest speaker will be a friend from the Haitian Community. Frednel Amilcar whose topic is “What it means to be a “Christian Haitian- American Republican”. Frednel was born in 1980 and came to the United States in 1999. He holds a Dual Bachelor’s Degree from FAU in French and Political Science and an Associates Degree in English from Palm Beach State College.
Our third speaker is Michael Barnett the Chairman of the Republican Party of Palm Beach County and Vice chairman of the Republican Party of Florida. Mike will review the August 28th election results and what to expect in the general election scheduled for Tuesday November 6th.
We hope to see you all at our next meeting, on Wednesday, September 5th in the “Social Room” at The Main Clubhouse near the East End Café. Don’t forget everyone will have a free chance to win a $25.00 Publix Gift Card. We do not charge dues and there is no admission charge. We do accept and appreciate donations

The job of Political Director involves finding Republican candidates for local elections and helping them succeed. As a current Lake Worth Commissioner serving his sixth term, Scott knows how it’s done.
Join us in September to hear Scott’s views on the upcoming election. With highly contested races for Governor, Senator and US Congress, there is a lot riding on what we do in the next 10 weeks. It’s time to saddle up.
Scott Maxwell is the Executive & Political Director of the Republican Party of Palm Beach County.
Born at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia; Scott was raised in a military family. He attended Xavier University in Cincinnati and transferred from Pittsburgh to Palm Beach County in June 1983. Scott met his wonderful wife Paula in 1984, and they married in 1988. In addition to their adult son, Scott Jr., they have two beautiful English Cocker Spaniel rescues, Cody and Domino as well as, Archie “Doodle” an Australian Terrier.
Scott has had the opportunity to work successfully with various political candidates, consultants and fundraisers in Palm Beach County over the past 20 years and is currently serving his 6th term on the Lake Worth City Commission.
Scott looks to use his life’s experiences to build relationships and coalitions that will encourage others to join and actively participate in the Republican Party of Palm Beach County.

There are over 115,000 veterans residing in Puerto Rico. Disabled American Veterans of Puerto Rico is kindly requesting donations of water, canned goods and personal hygiene items.

OCTOBER 17 MEETING OF THE JUDEO/CHRISTIAN REPUBLICAN CLUB

On October 17th the Judeo/Christian Republican Club (JCRC) will have its next meeting at the South County Civic Center at 16700 Jog Rd.in Delray Beach beginning at 6PM. The Center is just south of Linton Blvd.
We will have a great line-up of guest speakers, who for reasons of security will not be named here. We can say,  however, that a candidate for the House Republican nomination to unseat Debbie Wasserman Schultz will give a brief talk.
Our previous meetings have been SRO. However, in order to accommodate our paid up members, they will have priority seating until 5:45 PM. Non members will have seating on a first come basis.
There is no charge for this meeting.

Our guest speaker in October is the Director of the Center for Property Rights at the James Madison Institute in Orlando The Orlando-based Coalition for Property Rights established in 2001, is incorporated under JMI as the Institute’s new Center for Property Rights. Daniel Peterson, the Coalition’s former executive director, is the director of this Center and continues to reside in Orlando. As the director for the Center for Property Rights at The James Madison Institute, he oversees the efforts of securing the fundamental right to property for all Floridians. Dan has been deeply involved in the central Florida business and political communities since 1999. Previously, he worked in both the Florida Senate and the Florida House as a legislative assistant. Prior to that, he was a public affairs manager for SPRINT. His responsibilities included lobbying, community affairs and serving on numerous boards.
Before moving to Orlando in 1998, Dan served as Campus Crusade’s director of affairs for Eurasia (the former Soviet Union). During his 14 years of residency in Moscow, Russia, Dan traveled extensively as a seminar leader and conference speaker. Dan is also a former recording artist with SSS International Records. He still plays as a solo artist at various venues around Central Florida.
