FWC stays vigilant in enforcing airboat safety regulations

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is responsible for enforcing airboat regulations that went into effect last month. Per F.S. 327.391, airboat operators carrying passengers for hire must complete an Airboat Operators Course.

“Our officers will continue to be vigilant and proactive in checking airboat operators. In addition to routine checks, we’re launching a statewide detail to ensure compliance,” said Col. Curtis Brown, director of FWC’s Division of Law Enforcement. “We cannot overstate that with this popular recreational activity and economic opportunity comes our critical duty to protect boaters on Florida’s waterways.”

A tragic airboat accident in south Florida was the impetus behind House Bill 1211, known as “Ellie’s Law,” requiring all airboat operators carrying passengers for hire to complete an Airboat Operators Course.  At its June 2018 meeting in Sarasota, the FWC approved the course requirements. There are currently six course providers for this requirement.

“We expect the number of course providers to continue to increase,” Brown said. “This will provide more opportunities for members of the industry to comply with regulations and protect the safety of their passengers.”

“FOREVER CHRIST MINISTRIES”

JOURNEY AND MISSION

“PROCLAIMING HIS MESSAGE AND BRINGING JESUS TO ALL!”

Our journey began in a church one Sunday morning.  As we listened

to a missionary priest tell of his life commitment to “Glen Mary”,

a mission founded in the United States, in it’s mission to build churches in areas

like the Appalachians, where there is no church presence.

The Holy Spirit fell upon us and came into our hearts.

We knew then – we were being called to go,

to witness, to minister and to do God’s work

throughout the world.

Our ministry began that day and the ministry was formed by the hand of the Lord.

We began on the streets, ministering to those that were in need;

the homeless, the downhearted, those that had never known Him in their lives.

We reached out to help those He placed in our path telling of His Salvation and

forgiveness.

From downtown St. Louis, Mo. To Washington, D.C. to the Florida Keys we

continued to share his word to all of His children. We also assisted the homeless in the Florida Keys and now are located in The Villages, Fl.

We are called to reach out to those in need and without and we will forever walk in the Lord’s way and will.

Our ministry has been so blessed and is also involved in proclaiming His message

and word through Daily Inspirational Messages to nearly 5000 around the world through social media.

We also lead weekend retreats and travel to all churches to speak and testify.

We stand strong for Jesus Christ and His Salvation for all His people.

We believe our world has never needed to know Him more than they need to

know Him today!

We have followers from all over the world. We have been given direction through

His Holy Scripture, visions, signs and apparitions.
